I'm a collector of real ghost stories.

I give 2 stars because I have been a volunteer at the Pensacola Lighthouse for 2 years and just some of the stories in this book are not true. I am not sure where the author got his information, but it is incorrect. Keeper Jeremiah Ingraham died 19 years before the present day lighthouse tower was built and 29 years before the house(keepers quarters)was built. Ellen(Ella)Clifford died 4 and a half months after child birth from hemorrhaging at the lighthouse. She passed away in the second story bedroom, which is where the bloodstains are on the floor. As far murder goes with the lighthouse, there isn't any documentation of that. As far as it being haunted....It is very haunted. I am a paranormal investigator and have investigated hundreds of hours at the lighthouse. It is open 7 days a week to the public.

Wonderful book full of historical background of sites and personal interviews with people who actually encountered spooky occurrences. It can easily be used as a guide for the area in finding the sites.

did anyone proofread this book? Ramona Street? Alciniz Street? Blatant errors in the spelling of two local streets mentioned in this book!
